Who We Are

Mission & History

STRIMA, established in 1974, brings together risk and insurance managers of state governments into an organization to promote the advancement of risk management principles and practices in the public sector.

The state membership exchanges information, facilitates training opportunities, and promotes the highest level of professional and ethical standards within the industry.  Associate Member companies and organizations play a key role in the support of the Association's mission.
